Privacy notice

Who we are

Logic Charge is operated by LOGICCHARGE LTD, company number 17520431. Our registered office is 29a Clissold Road, London, N16 9EX, United Kingdom. We are responsible for the personal information used to operate this service. Contact info@logiccharge.co.uk about your information.

Information you choose to give us

Enquiry and booking forms collect your name, email, any telephone number you provide, project postcode and charging requirements. Your project details may include your vehicle, parking, property permissions, equipment preferences and the help you need. We also keep relevant correspondence and any agreement to an installer introduction. Please do not send identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive information that we have not requested.

How we use it

We use this information to answer your request, prepare and manage an enquiry or conversation, check what further assessment is needed, and coordinate a proposed introduction. We do not turn an enquiry into a marketing subscription. Providing the required fields lets us respond; you can browse our charging information without making an enquiry. An enquiry does not confirm a quotation, installation date or aftercare contract.

Our reasons for using information

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests you choose to make and running a useful, secure comparison and enquiry service. We limit this use to what is needed and consider your interests and reasonable expectations. We ask for your separate agreement before sharing your enquiry with a named installer. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by emailing us; this does not change processing already carried out lawfully. We may retain limited information where needed to meet a legal obligation or address a complaint or legal claim.

Installer introductions and buying links

We explain a proposed installer introduction and agree it with you before sharing your details. Only information relevant to the agreed request is shared. The installer is a separate business, assesses the project and explains its own use of your information. Retailer purchases take place on the named retailer website under its terms and privacy notice. Affiliate buying links are labelled; following a buying link does not authorise us to send your enquiry details to that retailer.

Our service providers

Wix provides our website, forms, booking and chat facilities. Usercentrics for Wix provides our cookie-consent controls and records your consent choices. We use Google Workspace for Logic Charge email and business documents. Authorised people handling the service can access relevant records. These providers and their service suppliers may process information outside the UK. Their data-processing terms explain their international-transfer arrangements; contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information. We may also disclose information where required by law or to professional advisers when necessary.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry while it is active. For an enquiry that does not result in an agreed referral or other continuing service, our retention period is 12 months after the last substantive contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless needed for a complaint, legal obligation or legal claim. Where a referral leads to a completed job, we keep only the records needed for commission accounting, disputes and statutory obligations for the applicable period. We review what is retained and restrict access to information kept for those purposes.

Questionnaire, cookies and external services

The finder uses your answers to explain recorded product matches and limitations. It does not certify installation or vehicle compatibility. Preparing an enquiry stores a temporary summary in your browser session so the contact form can receive it; that handover expires after 30 minutes. Website security, forms and chat also use platform technologies. Optional analytics or advertising technologies must follow the choices available in our cookie controls. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although some website functions may then be unavailable. External retailer and installer websites operate their own cookie and privacy arrangements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct information, erase it, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive information in a portable form. You can withdraw consent where that is the basis used. Email info@logiccharge.co.uk so we can consider your request and verify identity proportionately. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
